cloud713
LATWACS was talking about aerial views of the Museum District the other day and i ran across this and thought it would be of interest to other HAIFers as well.. great shots of downtown, uptown, the medical district, westheimer, san jacinto monument/battleship Texas, the fred hartman bridge, and the industrial east side...http://youtu.be/Q6NBWj0kovohttp://youtu.be/Q6NBWj0kovo

lockmat
That was really cool. It seems like that was a drone but it was icing really fast. Can they go that fast?
Subdude
That is pretty cool. I like that it shows a number of shots of the refineries and storage tank farms - a part of our economy that doesn't often show up in promotional videos.
Marcus Allen
That was very cool. Reminds me of a 1986 coffee table book entitled Texas, A State of Mind. Wish there was a modern day version of an aerial Texas coffee table book, a Cities of Texas book or even a modern aerial Houston coffee table book. Anyway, that was a great video. cloud713
That was really cool. It seems like that was a drone but it was icing really fast. Canthey go that fast?i was wondering the same thing. you would think it would be pretty damn difficult to get helicopter permits for the areas some of the shots were taken.. though i guess getting a drone permit to fly around highly secured refineries and chemical plants might be kind of hard too.. haha.
