BigFootsSocks
The site plans show ground floor retail similar to downtown's.
LarryDierker
will that area support ground floor retail?I think it depends on how the rest of the West Creek property is developed.
Montrose1100
Sorry for the blurry picture but our cab driver was apparently a big fan of too fast too furious.
kbates2
The construction camera for this has gotten much more personal.
toxtethogrady
This thing is flying skyward! The company behind the Skyhouses does not screw around!I think the real game-changer is those concrete pumps. You can bring concrete to the upper levels in one continuous placement rather than bringing it up a bucket at a time. So much faster.

ArchFan
I love how fast this thing is going up. It's fun that -- even tho' I see it every day -- I am still aware that its growing. Unlike some other projects that seem to take forever. It will be interesting to see how the Westcreek developments unfold. I'm not sure how many of the projects I've heard of will actually happen. Two of them are condo towers, one is an office tower, and one is a hotel. I think the patio homes people mentioned a few months back are a long-dead concept, perhaps because they were considered to be "under-developing" the site, what with all the high-rise stuff going up next door. Triton
Houston Boom by marclongoria, on Flickr It is quite noticeable on 610 all the way from I-10. My photo doesn't do it justice but when you're driving down 610, it looks like you are going to go straight into Skyhouse.
