MarathonMan
Nice building above the parking podium. However, the podium ruins it for me. It is a hulking, disproportionately large vault that completely cuts the building off from it's surroundings. Classier, but not unlike Randall Davis's typical fare. Fail!
monarch
^^^ beautiful edifice. however, simply awful landscaping. this development really is SCREAMING for some gorgeous soothing uplit palm trees. there is a need for more lush tropical foliage....
HoustonIsHome
I like the top part of the building but the podium is too fortress-like. Too unwelcoming. Looks kinda like something that would house juvenile delinquents.
InTheLoopFromNYC
The tower portion is decent enough, an improvement over some of the outdated 70's office buildings along St. James, but the lower portion is really horrible! The garage and entry are completely out of tune with the surroundings, the entry is minimized, and that whole section looks like any 70's suburban mall exterior. Too bad, and agree with MarathonMan's Randal Davis comment above. Hopefully some tall palms or cypress trees will be added in the future!

The landscaping from the nearby apartments would be nice, but that's to the discretion of the developer. I like the 70's & 80's office buildings. Matressfirm has their HQ there should anyone want to protest.
kdog08
Agreed about the landscaping. They simply need to make the entrance more "green".
