Google Reader going away

Recommended Posts

I guess it was inevitable, if there's a really simple service that Google provides, they'll eventually get rid of it.

Google Reader is going to be completely gone in a few months (July 1).

In a twist of irony, I stumbled into this data from a feed on Google Reader.

I'm trying out some alternatives (NewsBlur right now), but does anyone else have any suggestions?

That most definitely sucks. It has been my preferred RSS tool for quite some time, and seems to be frequently recommended to anyone looking for the best (free) option to manage RSS feeds. Guess it's time to find an alternative, and I'm sure it'll be a PITA to migrate all of my feeds over to whatever replacement I settle on.
