Urbannizer
http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2017/02/06/after-years-of-talks-new-woodlands-office-building.html For three years, Bob Parsley, co-chairman and principal of Colliers in Houston, has been working to get a planned north Houston office building off the ground. Throughout Houston's prolonged energy slump, interest in 10 Waterway, a proposed office building in The Woodlands, has waned. Now that the office market's worst days are behind us, though, Parsley said he expects to lease an anchor tenant for the building this year, which would kick off the building's groundbreaking. 10 Waterway would be located about a block south of The Woodlands Waterway. Parsley, alongside Colliers' Norm Munoz, is marketing 10 Waterway, which will add between 400,000 and 500,000 square feet to the Woodlands office market once it delivers. It's being planned by The Woodlands Development Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Dallas-based Howard Hughes Corp. (NYSE: HHC). If the building breaks ground this year, it would likely deliver in 2020, Parsley said. Interest has picked up among companies looking to take either a large portion or the entirety of the building. "There are companies that are feeling good about the future," he said. Several companies across Houston's major industries — energy, health care and financial services — are interested in leasing 10 Waterway and securing the building's naming rights. The building will be at 10 Waterway Ave., about a block or two south of several hotels, restaurants, retailers and offices along The Woodlands Waterway. Connecticut-based architecture firm Pickard Chilton designed the building, and a contractor has not yet been selected.
BigFootsSocks
Kind of a click-bait title then; it's not breaking ground, it's moving to the stage of "we hope a tenant signs a lease so we can break ground"
DotCom
I believe this is no longer listed for lease by any 3rd party brokers, but Howard Hughes is keeping the dream alive. https://www.thewoodlands.com/wp-content/upload10Waterway-Brochure-2023.pdfs/2023/06/10Waterway-Brochure-2023.pdf
