Does anyone know about the architect named in the HAR posting, Allen R Williams? I am impressed that the agent is suggesting remodeling this place; although it seems unlikely given the neighborhood.

What a unique play on angles, hope the next owner appreciates it.

Neat house - just wish the neighborhood was more intact..
One of his homes was on the 2005 RDA tour - 6328 Brookside Dr. (1950).
In this thread it is mentioned that the Brookside home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was built for Angelo and Lillian Minella, and it was one of several of Williams' "Century Built Homes."

All I can say is wow! That house is great.
It's a shame they're building those hideous out-sized fake French chateauxs down the road.
To me that's just as bad as the blighted, crime ridden apartments down the road from my home.

I agree about the house. I agree about the oversized McChateaux. But I think I would rather live down the road from those instead of blighted, crime-ridden apartments. Unless you're talkin' about Wilshire Village!
