SpaceAge Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 Lars W. Bang LARS W. BANG, age 87, passed away after a brief illness on October 17, 2008 in Houston, Texas. During WWII, he proudly served our country in the Army Air Corps. An architect by profession, his career spanned forty years as principal of his own firm, Lars Bang Associates. Lars is preceded in death by his devoted wife of fifty years, Billie Liese Bang. He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Riley & husband Doug and Candy Daubin; son, Dana Lars Bang; grandchildren, Scott Daubin and Christopher Daubin; sister, Naomi Curran; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at The Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
