In 1986, The Junior League of Houston broke ground on a new hospital (and clinic?) building in River Oaks at 1811 Briar Oaks Lane. 1986 groundbreaking photo: Photos that I took today: The gate is missing the very unique "JL" logo. Cost cutting I'd assume.

I was driving a long Briar Hollow Lane and noticed, out the corner of my eye, a sign that read The John M. O'Quinn Foundation. I had to stop by and take photos! Briar Hollow Plaza office building located at19 Briar Hollow Lane.

This office building in Uptown located at 777 Post Oak Boulevard is home to Old Republic Title. Here's a photo I took the other month.

The law offices of Hudson Partnership located at 35 North Wynden Drive is connected to the Blaffer family. Hudson Bros. Real Estate owns some high-value land down the street a long South Post Oak Lane. I stopped by the other month to take a photo of the street signage and building.

This week I learned that Kelsey Seybold had a satellite clinic in one of the three-building Galleria Office Towers. The office complex was originally developed by Hines and is now managed by Colvill Office Properties. Galleria Tower I is at 2700 Post Oak Boulevard. Galleria Tower II is at 5051 Westheimer Road. Galleria Financial Center is at 5065 and 5075 Westheimer Road.

In 1952, the Memorial Hospital System built their Professional Building. The building is striking with a colorful facade and a new "modern" design style. My favorite building by the old business! The physical building model with the architect/owners. The building under construction in 1953. Building completed. In this photo you can see the colorful parking garage and yellow/green facade.

I finally, naturally, came across that old office building on Richmond that has been for sale. Nobody is interested in the property it seems. It has been on the market for years. Probably too small of a parcel to do anything with? It's 0.20-acres. MD Anderson has office space in the GreenPark One Medical Office Building located at 7515 Main Street. I thought recently there was a change of ownership in the GreenPark buildings? I remember a few months ago there was building signage being removed. I stopped by today to snap a quick photo. It's actually not a bad looking MOB. Has that "tower" look. Gensler designed this?

I can't find any pictures, or maps, about the old Gerald Hines and R.E. Smith development a long the West Loop South. The building(s) could have been a long San Felipe Street? Perhaps the old business park was the first go-around at The Galleria? I know someone on HAIF has to know more information. Do any of the buildings still exist? Gensler designed the GreenPark II Medical Office Building located at 7505 South Main Street. MD Anderson and Texas Children's Hospital leases space here. I stopped by today to snap a picture.

I didn't know this building even existed. I was getting confused with Houston Chronicle buildings, but I believe this one is a whole separate building! Designed by Olle Lorehn and built in the late 1890s or early 1900s.

A rare look at the first Settegast Building built in 1884. The building eventually burned down and was rebuilt in 1907 by his daughter.
