I never go in this store because it drives me insane. But as I keep seeing this post I just might have to break my rule and stroll through just to enjoy the music.- 239 replies

The one in the Greenway Plaza food court closed. I didn't care for it much personally. I found everything I tried to be incredibly salty. I'm still surprised they closed. It seemed fairly popular. -
We might even share mimosas with HAIFers. Is there some kind of HAIF gang sign so we can identify each other.

They are also conducting their first Galveston pub crawl this Saturday in The Strand district. Starts at 4pm at Old Cellar/Molly's on Post Office. -
You'll have to trust me, it's not that hard. The advantage is you never accidentally step in it.

Thanks for the updates. I'm still hoping for a decent Bally's. The closest Bally's in Pasadena was pitiful when I first joined 20 years ago.- 239 replies

I'd have a hangover every morning if I had to use that shower. Headache and dizziness without the benefit of a tasty cocktail.

Point taken, but I just threw up in my mouth a little when I saw this picture. I know it's not constructive activism, but so be it.

80's Soap "texas" Set In Houston
stolitx replied to KimberlySayWhat's topic in Houston and the Media
I remember watching this once. A character mentioned the evening news as the "11:00 o'clock news". I was like what the heck is 11:00 news, then realized in NY it's 11:00 news not 10:00. Way to go writers. -
Just what I was thinking. I dont' know about deluxe, but my house has the pool in the front behind a gate as well. Proudly still standing. And huge Sagos as well. I just wish I knew the architect of mine.

Have you been in the neighborhoods of Pasadena? Very family friendly. I grew up there and there was only smell about twice a year, unless you actually live at the refineries. It's too suberban for me, but very family friendly place to raise kids these days, particularly the newer areas near the new shopping centers. Also I got to second the city services in Pasadena, suberb. My mom called Pasadena to ask when the big trash trucks would be coming to her street next, and they just sent a truck and crew over and picked up the trash that day for her.- 160 replies

Actually I was at that show. A friend of mine got tickets. I'll have to check out the dvd. And just to clarify, I don't stand in line either if I get concert tickets. I meant that more as a figure of speech not literally. Kind of like if I was to say "I got the new George Strait cd" what I probably meant was that I downloaded it from iTunes.

Sugar Land, Pat Green, & ZZ Top. Los Lonely Boys would be good. It's not like I will stand in line for tickets. But hopefully I will know someone with tickets who doens't want these. I've seen all these acts in much more pleasing (read small) venues so I don't work too hard to go. The first time I saw George Strait was in Gilleys in the 80s. I've seen him at the Rodeo and I just find it annoying to watch a spec spin on a stage.
