Per CVS local employee, to secure the building from homeless and vagrant activity. When I asked about future plans for the site, no details or news was shared.

The investor relations contact at FirstGroup confirmed that the Houston Greyhound station was included in the property sale. They do not have any information at this time about continued bus operations from the station.

@corbs315Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let's hope that the closure is indeed secured, and that something neighborhood-friendly will occupy the space. Separate topic: regarding your "sources", do you have any insight that you can share about Caydon's departure from Midtown? Was it a financial issue in response to the pandemic or a response to a changed view about Midtown?

There appears to be construction clearance taking place on two blocks spanning from Austin to LaBranch at Gray. Does anyone know what's about to go up?
