  1. I live up in DC, and the Washington Nationals logo 'W' looks very similar to the old Weingarten's 'W'. Pretty much everytime I go see them play, I constantly tell people they stole the 'W' from Weingartens. I miss Houston, is that odd?
  2. I found these pictures of Malibu as it looks today...or not long ago. I still have my license for the go-karts someplace. I also think I still have some tokens for the video games. I used to go all the time for their putt-putt golf, but always perfered Speedy's for go-karts. I don't think that plae is still open, but it rocked. The track was built into an old pool. http://www.abandonedbutnotforgotten.com/ab..._in_houston.htm
  3. Whooooo! I mentioned Panjo's in another post! That place rocked. We had all of our T-ball parties there. Memory serves the pizza was pretty good thin crust style. I wish I had some pictures.
  4. I like it and the colors, but I don't know how I feel about each new team having a more traditional soccer name. I really was rooting for an Oiler return
  5. Someone might have mentioned it, but we had a cool Pipe Organ Pizza that wasn't too far from Panjo's, closer to Memorial City Mall, but even as a kid I thought their pizza was way too greasy.
  6. This was probably only in my neighborhood across from Town & Country Mall, but Panjo's Pizza was a great place we went after most T-ball games. They had a great arcade game that was kinda like Battlezone, but you were a sub and you played by looking through the periscope. I can't remember the name of the place, but they sold was stero equipment at low low proces and had a very excited guy yelling about it on the commercial. It ws located near the Toy's R Us at I-10 and Gessner. Would of been around 1987 or so.
