    It might have been due to the IH-45 South McKinney exit being closed for an undetermined amount of time due to a truck hitting a beam and causing damage. -no1racer

    There used to be a Outdoor/Home store, "The Great Outdoors", owned by the Sears brand. It closed a couple years ago.

    KinkaidAlum & Houston19514, thanks so much for the great detailed replies. That makes perfect sense. I also didn't think about it from a campus perspective. Hopefully they will close Cullen through campus at some point and "island" campus so that it can truly be fully integrated and interactive with campus. Thanks again!

    Does anyone know the reason why they changed the orientation of the stadium from north-south to east-west? I wonder if the was an architectural reason such as future construction space for additional capacity, etc? I would think the current east-west orientation would actually make the sun a bigger factor in regards to gameplay.

    I think he is referring to the AD Players Theater on Alabama. There had been a sign way back stating that they would be building and relocating to Westheimer in front of the Spectra Energy (old Duke Energy) building. Not sure if that's expected to come to fruition. -no1racer
