From the past few days. Was surprised to see how many people were taking their family photos outside of the building so that they could have the lobby Christmas trees as their backdrop.6 points

Just to refresh what this project will look like. Not sure where the 3 comes in, it looks like only one building to me, will there be more in the future? EDIT: Renderings removed at the demand of Large arts in Collingwood, Australia. —Editor http://zieglercooper.com/the-midtown-3/2 points

What's really needed is a portcullis and a moat.2 points

The park should expand 1 block north and kill that street in between. Park would become much more substantial... Could spur more development. Also - I am not a fan of Toyota Center... Would love to see this redesigned.2 points

It's this going to be built in phases? Any idea what the other buildings will look like? Looks like this tower will take up 1 of the 2.5 blocks purchased. Will this building open before it's neighbor across the street?2 points

I still have a dream that someday we'll have a green roof initiative. Imagine that picture with gardens/parks on top of the sprawling apartment buildings and garages.2 points

Giorgetti breaks ground in early 2018. If the HEB mixed-use does break ground soon the three would all rise together at some point. Quite the addition to UK, densifying the area while extending mixed-use southward (Kirby Collection does this as well).2 points

I rode by and happened to talk with a guy. He said it's only going to be one floor deep basement with a podium parking garage, 1 tower crane on the southeast corner. He said they tried to buy the property on the northwest corner but the guy wouldn't sell but he gets $100,000 for having the tower crane boom flying over his property. They are attempting to get Beck's Prime to sell their northeast corner and place them in the GFR. He also said the HEB project will be starting up soon. No trucks will be allowed to to travel west of the corner on Steel St thus protecting the Oak trees, all trucks will enter on Kipling and exit on Steel St. corner near Kirby heading eastbound only.2 points

May I suggest new signage all around? The current signage needs a power washing! It's also very low to the ground. Raise the signage to stand out!2 points

I'm just pleased that its been cleaned up. IT looks so much better. I just drove on Pierce elevated from 45 south yesterday for the first time and it still stuck out only because I was blown away by how much better the skyline looked now without the eyesore.1 point

i went by yesterday and toured the space with Mike. Looks like Tramonte architects is doing the space. Its going to be nice with outdoor seating. They're installing several garage doors to be able to bring the outside in when nice.1 point

When Hines developed the Galleria there was an office building that wouldn't sell and Hines eventually dug a 30 foot pit around the building on three sides and meanwhile offered them (Michel T. Halbouty) space in a new office building across the street. They sold. Sometimes you just gotta make it worth their while.1 point

This venue is super cool! Really loved going there the other night!1 point

It won’t look like a medieval fort when they are done. Of course, without the arrow slits, it was kinda useless anyway. So much for having those walls strong enough to ward off cannon fire. The new place will actually look inviting from the outside!1 point

When I saw them fly up the dome on of the workers told me they would start tearing down the middle portion in order to make it bigger.1 point

The grouping of the SkyHouse, Arabella, and Wilshire by Uptown is the closest thing I can think of. This will be toward the back of the property, and the Hanover as I recall does not extend along the full length of its lot, so there will be a slight offset between these two.1 point

Noticed the CVS sign is up. Not sure how long it's been up.1 point

Warning: they currently are renovating, so they have free mandatory valet parking (or an offsite garage) and the pool is closed. But it is a good deal1 point
