  1. A very cool, boutique hotel is almost it's only hope. Hotel Alassandra sounds like a likely and good fit. A strengthening of the brand can only help a houston property. Drink your juice Monarch. It's all going to be okay. Sh sh shhhh.

  6. Now if we could just get rid of some of those ugly power lines, Houston would actually be pretty decent looking.

  7. The base of this is now VERY deep. I'll have to double check because I was driving on 45 when I noticed but this looks to rival 609 Main deep.

  10. A light rail connection to Hobby is in the long range plans for the Green line. The old 2035 plan that was released in 2007 showed extensions of both the Green and Purple lines to Hobby. You can see that on a map on page 16 of this document: http://www.h-gac.com/taq/plan/documents/2035_final/2035%20RTP%20Main%202007-10-26%20REVISED.pdf

  12. Correct. This is central to the plan to change the configuration of ADLA. There will be no room for bus drop offs on the street. But, they still need bus drop off locations for conventioneers. Modifications to the South garage were needed for buses and the plans for the north garage already encompass the needed bus infrastructure.

  13. Yeah that's been ongoing for a little while now. They are lowering the ground floor and opening the entrance way a bit higher for buses on the south side (there is a bus station/terminal/pick up drop off thing in the new garage on the north side too)

  18. The problem is oil markets turn on a dime. At least analyst at Bloomberg thinks oil will be back to $80 by Q4 of 2015. Al Naimi is an absolutely unflappable card player.
