I guess since no one answered my question, this hasn't been posted on HAIF before. Sure this is the latest information on the site? Perhaps I'm thinking of a CBRE document I saw a while ago but CBRE has nothing to do with this property so idk.

I haven't seen anything on HAIF about it. According to both of these articles Skanska made the announcement today, so I think it should be up to date.

"Mair noted that an additional benefit of the site is favorable height restrictions that allow for unobstructed views of the surrounding area as well as high visibility for tenants."

So do you think this means that the buildings will have some height to them ? Or that they will be short?

Wow! I remember when I-45 through this area was a 2 lane highway and was truly considered the boondox. I'm stunned at the growth. The Woodlands/Spring is really becoming an economic center/powerhouse more and more each year. ''Out in the sticks'' be damned. Huntsville is what The Woodlands was 30 years ago. Conroe is what The Woodlands was 15 years and The Woodlands is becoming more and more like Greenspoint without the crime.

Don't worry... give it a few more years and it'll be just like Greenspoint.

Dang, NEVER expected to see something like this in that location.

Excellent use of sarcasm, good sir.

How thoughtful of Skanska to now focus their energy on DFW south. Meanwhile, Houston has lost my favorite mural, Suzanne Sellers "The Muted Hues of History" with the demolition of the Houston Club Building and leaves the city with a parking garage for who knows how long.

6,000 sf is way too much house to deal with. Even 3,000 sf is too big. But 2,000 sf is good for a large family, and 1,500 will fit a small family.

But unless Skanska is willing to build it and just wait for the tenants to roll in, I don't see this project happening anytime soon...

Hey Urby, there's also another office tower sign right next to this project. Not sure what development project that is but it is clearly unrelated to this one. I'll see if I can snag a photo next time I am on that side of town.
