This building is a rarity for downtown Houston - a single building that spans more than one block. San Jacinto runs underneath the building, and as far as the Postal Service is concerned, that's reason enough to give it two mailing addresses. It sets itself apart from its Houston Center brothers and sisters by being brown instead of black, and by using very wide bands of brown spandrels to give it a bit of style. Though chunky in form, the cut-off edges give it a pleasing tactile sense. Quick Facts
